Many new caregivers need a helping hand, a nudge

…a nudge to blossom and grow…to feel encouraged and supported.
New Caregivers will soon find that most caregivers care about caregivers and want to be helpful, want to share.
While this is not a ‘how to do it’ site, and we certainly do not diagnose or give medical advice of any kind, there are a few steps those caring for loved ones with memory loss might take to help get reliable, educated, assistance.
Never look into a mirror without smiling and saying I LOVE YOU!

ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MESSAGES ON THIS SITE:
As a caregiver, reach out often
to find encouragement and support you need.
No one knows you need help unless you make it known.
It is up to you to let others know you need the help.
We offer this nudge, this site with many suggestions…
…but you must follow your instincts.
Once you suspect memory loss in a loved one, or yourself,
FIRST: contact medical professionals to confirm your unique situation;
SECOND: locate Alzheimer Society office and connect with their professionals
THIRD: find a support group focused on your specific needs.
